Thank you for visiting our website. The following explains the nature, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data in accordance with Section 13, paragraph 1 of the German Telemedia Act (Telemediengesetz).
When you retrieve content from our website, some data is automatically collected and used. The nature of the internet means this data has to be processed on a number of servers before your request reaches our web server; therefore, the possibility exists that data is collected and used in third countries (e.g. the United States). Our company has no influence on this process.
Aside from these inevitable technical processes (and the use of the Google Analytics tool), we do not transmit any personal data to countries that are not subject to the EU Data Protection Directive. Further exceptions may be video clips integrated into the site. In this case, www.youtube.com determines your IP address in order to be able to show the video.
The following data is collected and used on your behalf in order to deliver web pages ("surfing").
In order to ensure the correct operation of the web server, this data is stored for 7 days in log files using anonymous IP addresses. We cannot use it to obtain the IP addresses of visitors to our website.
Cookies are small text files stored on your hard drive by your browser.
We also use so called “session cookies.” These are used to establish a unique connection between you and our website. Only a random number are stored. The cookie is automatically removed when the browser is closed. Our website uses the following cookies:
You can use the contact form to send us a message. The contents are sent in email format to email@example.com. We use the content of your emails in accordance with your wishes and will never use your email address for advertising purposes. The contact form is not encrypted and therefore the data is transmitted in plain text via the internet.
If you require a more confidential transmission path, we would like to offer you the following advice: Provided that your email provider also uses TLS encryption, you can send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, and it will be encrypted during transmission.
If you would like to receive our English newsletter, you will be redirected to https://www.remex-solutions.de/en/contact/newsletter-subscription.html . In case you would like to subscribe to our German newsletter, you will be redirected to https://www.remex-solutions.de/de/kontakt/newsletter-abonnieren.html. In both cases, your email address is verified using the double opt-in procedure.
You can unsubscribe from the English or German newsletter at any time using the respective links https://www.remex-solutions.de/en/contact/newsletter-cancellation.html and https://www.remex-solutions.de/de/kontakt/newsletter-abbestellen.html (please enter your email address) or in any individual newsletter you receive (using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the message).
There is no tracking (e.g. to see whether and when you read the newsletter). The newsletter is individually addressed to each recipient and therefore the email addresses of other recipients are not visible.
Our email server supports the TLS encryption of all email addresses using the format "email@example.com". This means you can send us emails with confidential content. The only requirement is that your own email server also uses encryption. You can find this out free of charge at www.checktls.com.
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). To this end, Google Analytics uses so-called 'cookies', which are text files stored in your computer and enable analysis of the way users use the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to a Google server in the US and stored there.
Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and for the provision of other services related to website activity and internet usage. Google may also pass this information on to third parties in so far as this is required by law or if third parties process the data on Google's behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google.

Our website uses so-called social plugins for “facebook.com”, the network operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA.
If one of our websites is called up via such a plugin, then a link is created to Facebook via your browser. Facebook transmits the content of the plugin to your browser and this integrates it into the Internet page. Moreover, the information is passed on to Facebook via the plugin that our website was called up via your browser. If you are logged on to Facebook on the same computer when you call up our website, then Facebook will match this to your Facebook account and link it to our website. Should you actively use the plugin, for example click on the “Like” Button or leave a comment, then this information will also be transmitted to Facebook via the plugin and stored there. To learn more about how data is collected and used by Facebook and how you can change your settings, go to: www.facebook.com/privacy/explanation
If you do not wish your data to be transmitted to Facebook as described above, then simply log out of your Facebook account before you visit our website.
